National Institute of Disaster Management is an institute to cope with the natural disasters in India, on a national as well as regional basis, inaugurated on August 11, 2004. This institute is located in New Delhi, where different programs have been taught to manage the risky situation during disaster. During the recent tsunami, caused by an earthquake affected coastal areas of India. . National Institute of Disaster Management came forward in a lead in the management of that disaster. The proper evacuation and re-structuring estimates was presented by the disaster management institute. The main purpose of the disaster management is to reduce risk of losing human lives.
