"The Babysitter" is a 2017 American horror-comedy film directed by McG and written by Brian Duffield. The film stars Judah Lewis, Samara Weaving, Robbie Amell, Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, and Andrew Bachelor.

The film follows 12-year-old Cole (Judah Lewis), who is madly in love with his babysitter Bee (Samara Weaving). Bee is everything Cole wants in a woman: smart, funny, and beautiful. But one night, while his parents are away, Cole discovers that Bee is actually a member of a satanic cult and is planning to sacrifice him to their devilish deity.

The film received positive reviews for its blend of comedy, horror and its performances, particularly Weaving as the titular babysitter. It premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and was released on Netflix on October 13, 2017.

It is considered a cult classic and has a sequel "The Babysitter: Killer queen" which was released on Netflix on September 10, 2020.
